Kindle Edition Verified Purchase. Holly hell what a book! It is so well-written and thought out. This book like all her books are hard to put down. And this was one hot and steamy book. But she is in for a surprise already having a bad day and coffee all over her clothing, Errol agrees to take Taryn to her new apartment.
As soon as they arrive there, he does not like what he sees.
Devour Me, Colossus (Part I): Blackholes
Her apartment is bad and unlivable. Errol purposes that she come and stays with him and but that is not all he wants her to do. He wants her in his bed too. That is when things start heating up quickly in both the classroom and the bedroom. And take care of you to. I didn't realize this was a trilogy about the same couple, but this book ends in a cliffhanger. So now I have to get the next book as fast as I can. Now before I ruin this for you I will leave off here.
I hope you enjoy this book as much as I did. If you do like this book, please consider leaving a review.
The Authors really like it when you do; they value your opinions too. One person found this helpful. Devour Me by Kailin Gow is the first in a series, Master Chefs, but aptly lays the framework for what is to come. The story is at times a bit contrived, but overall, it is a decent read if you want something light. The developing relationship between Taryn Cummings and her too hot teacher, Errol King, has the elements of becoming a tawdry affair or a lifelong commitment.

Which will it be? Will the teacher teach the student or will the student be the better teacher? As stated on the cover, this is erotica, so do expect a little more than usual explicit sexual encounters. It does deliver on the sexual heat for the most part. There was a little bit of suspense, which changed the pace for a few pages. The book ends on a cliffhanger.
Devour Me (Master Chefs, #1) by Kailin Gow
I hope the other books deliver on the promise of a good series. The author seems to have veered off the path and became a bit too predictable in following popular writing conventions. A little more attention to proofreading would have helped in making this a better book. She ends up rooming with her sexy as sin itself instructor and things start heating up quickly in both the classroom and the bedroom. Kailin Gow did a wonderful job of creating her characters to be personable, and describing them in such detail that the reader feels like they know them personally.
The story is fantastic, I felt like I was there and actively part of the events, seeing them first hand. Readers should know that the story ends in a cliffhanger. There is no resolution to the plot at the end of book one.
Devour Me, Colossus (Part I): Blackholes Lyrics
Also, as should be evident from the description and the cover, this is a book of erotica and contains explicit scenes. The novel is well written with few errors. The plot is a bit unbelievable and will require a suspension of disbelief about some of the character's circumstances.
However if one is able to manage that, this is a reasonably well put together novel in the 50 shades genre of romance stories. It follows the same story line of 50 shades, in that a young and naive woman begins a romance with a wealthy and famous bachelor with hangups of his own. I'm going to be honest - there was a lot of potential here for a story that was great and unique and interesting. But that is not what happened. Citadel, of hope and white fire Hearken, a choir for kings Transcendence Crowned in teeth and severed wings Is this the end of The end of the flesh?
My prison and my salvation. A call from the void, pale tentacles Enthroned, alone, dying Down with my draped leeches Oh lover Melancholia You fill my lungs Am I undone? Where I swallow the light. Gathered in veiled depths Descendant Are these God's tears in this pitch Black tomb or the pain of my memories? Of all suffering, awake architects The mother, the father, the eye Trumpets bellow, the ripples transfigure Wretched am I. White eyes and blue lips, lover Devour me Drown me in your arms Abyssal wyrmwell Fathomless Drown me in your arms Drown me in your arms Abyssal wyrmwell Fathomless.
